About this artwork

Amana ar-Rasul Mint Green Quran Calligraphy Canvas

A calm portrait canvas with the final two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah written in clear black script, opening with the Basmala. The soft mint-green background is lightly textured with stencilled floral and lace-like patterns that fade towards the edges.

Meaning

These verses, often called Amana ar-Rasul after their opening words, affirm the faith of the Messenger and the believers in Allah, His angels, His books and His messengers, and close with a heartfelt supplication for forgiveness, mercy and help.

The Prophet ﷺ said that whoever recites the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah at night, they will be sufficient for him (Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim), which is why many families recite them before sleep.

Colour and Composition

The text is set in even, readable lines with generous spacing, so the whole passage can be read from a short distance. The pale green palette is restful and suits bedrooms and quiet spaces where bolder colours would feel heavy.

Artwork Highlights

  • Surah Al-Baqarah 2:285–286 in full, with the Basmala
  • Clear black script that is easy to read
  • Mint-green background with soft stencilled texture
  • Portrait format
  • Custom sizes and colours available on request

Where It Belongs

  • Bedrooms, beside where the verses are recited at night
  • Prayer rooms and reading corners
  • Hallways and quiet sitting areas
  • Nurseries and children's rooms in a calm palette

A Meaningful Gift

A gentle, meaningful gift for a new home, a newly married couple, or family members who keep these verses in their nightly routine.

Handmade Details

Brushwork, layered paint and small variations in the lettering are part of a hand-painted piece and are not flaws. Colours can look slightly different with room lighting and screen settings. The exact size, materials and framing options are confirmed with you before you order.

Artwork containing sacred Arabic words should be displayed in a clean, elevated and respectful place.
