A custom commission at InkByHand means a piece composed entirely for your specified text and requirements — not adapted from an existing design. The composition, size, surface, and colour direction are all shaped around what you want.
We work with Quranic verses, Arabic names, the 99 Names of Allah, personal supplications, and meaningful phrases. If you have a text in mind, share it and we will discuss the possibilities.

Colour choices are discussed and agreed before starting. You can share references or preferences and we will guide the direction.

We discuss and confirm the composition direction, surface, format, and pricing before any work begins.

Once confirmed, we compose and complete the artwork by hand. No work starts without your sign-off on the key details.
- 04Packed and shipped
Your artwork is carefully packed and shipped. A tracking number is shared once dispatched.

How do I start a custom calligraphy commission?
Use the contact page, WhatsApp, or email to share the text, preferred size, colour palette, and any deadline you have in mind. We will confirm the details and timeline before starting.
What texts can be commissioned?
We can work with Quranic verses, the 99 Names of Allah, Arabic names, short supplications (dua), meaningful phrases, and personal dedications. We do not write content that is inappropriate or disrespectful.
Can I change details after confirming the commission?
Once the artwork has started, significant changes cannot be made without restarting. That is why we confirm all key details — text, size, palette, and format — clearly before beginning.
How long does a custom piece take?
Most custom pieces are ready within 7–14 working days. Larger or more complex commissions may take longer. We confirm the timeline with you before starting.
