About this verse
Surah Al-Ikhlas (Sincerity) is the 112th surah of the Quran. In four short verses it declares that Allah is One, the Eternal Refuge, who neither begets nor is born, and that nothing is comparable to Him.
The Prophet ﷺ said that it is equal to a third of the Quran (Sahih al-Bukhari). It is recited in daily prayers and, together with Al-Falaq and An-Nas, in the morning, in the evening and before sleep.
