About this verse
The Four Quls are four short surahs that each begin with the command "Qul" ("Say"): Al-Kafirun, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, and An-Nas. Together they affirm pure monotheism and seek Allah's protection.
Al-Ikhlas was described by the Prophet ﷺ as equal to a third of the Quran (Sahih al-Bukhari). Al-Falaq and An-Nas are known together as al-Mu'awwidhatayn, the two surahs of seeking refuge.
